Every life has storms.

Sometimes those storms look like scary situations. Other times they're worries about school, friendships, family, or things we simply don't understand. The good news is that no matter how big the waves may seem, Jesus is always with us.

This August, we're diving into one of the most powerful miracles in the Bible: Jesus Calms the Storm (Mark 4:35–41).

When Jesus and His disciples crossed the Sea of Galilee, a fierce storm suddenly appeared. The waves crashed into the boat, and the disciples became terrified. While they panicked, Jesus slept peacefully. When they woke Him, He simply spoke these incredible words:

"Peace, be still."
Mark 4:39 (KJV)

Immediately, the wind stopped, the sea became calm, and Jesus reminded His disciples to trust Him.

That same message is just as important for us today. Jesus has the power to bring peace—not only to storms on the sea, but also to the storms in our hearts.

Little Disciples (Ages 3–7)
