Matthew 7:24–27 | Little Disciples & Faith Builders

What does it mean to build your life upon a strong foundation? This November, we're helping children discover the answer through one of Jesus Christ's most meaningful parables—The Wise and Foolish Builders!

Our November Build Upon a Rock Bible Study Boxes are designed to bring Scripture to life through hands-on crafts, sensory exploration, creative activities, and meaningful lessons that help children develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ.

Whether your child is just beginning to learn about the Bible or is ready to explore Scripture more deeply, this month's box offers a fun and memorable way to discover the importance of building our lives upon Christ and His teachings.

🪨 This Month's Scripture: Matthew 7:24–27

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock." — Matthew 7:24 (KJV)

In this powerful parable, Jesus tells the story of two builders.

The wise man built his house upon a rock. When the rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew, his house remained standing because it had a strong foundation.

The foolish man, however, built his house upon the sand. When the storms came, his house fell because its foundation was not strong enough.

Jesus used this simple story to teach an important lesson: It's not enough to simply hear God's Word—we must also put His teachings into action.

Through this month's activities, children will discover that when we make Jesus Christ the foundation of our lives, we can face challenges with faith, courage, and trust in Him.

📦 What's Inside Our November Bible Study Boxes?

Every Messages from Christ box is thoughtfully designed to combine meaningful Scripture study with activities children genuinely enjoy!

💌 A Special Scripture Letter from Christ

Each box begins with a beautifully designed, wax-sealed Scripture Letter featuring Matthew 7:24–27.

This special letter introduces children to the month's Bible lesson and encourages them to think about how they can build their own lives upon Jesus Christ.

📖 Build Upon a Rock Activity Booklet

Our themed Bible study booklets include age-appropriate activities designed to help children understand and remember the teachings of Jesus.

Children will explore the story of the Wise and Foolish Builders through Scripture learning, thoughtful questions, and engaging activities.

Each booklet is tailored to one of our two age groups:

• Little Disciples (Ages 3–7): Simple, engaging activities for younger learners.

• Faith Builders (Ages 8–12): More detailed Scripture exploration and activities that encourage deeper reflection.

🎨 Wooden House Painting Craft

Children will receive a wooden house craft, complete with paints and a paintbrush!

As they paint and decorate their little houses, they'll be reminded of the importance of building upon a strong foundation.

This creative activity provides a wonderful opportunity for parents to talk with their children about what it means to trust Jesus and follow His teachings.

🪨 Rock-Themed Sensory Kit

One of the most exciting parts of this month's box is our hands-on sensory kit!

Featuring kinetic sand and small stones, this activity allows children to explore the differences between building upon sand and building upon rock.

Through play and exploration, children can begin to understand why a strong foundation matters—not just when building a house, but in their own lives as well!

🤲 Rock Squish Toy

Each box also includes a fun rock squish toy!

This playful addition serves as a simple reminder of this month's lesson: Jesus Christ is our rock and our foundation!

⭐ Scripture Memory Card, Bookmark & Stickers

To help reinforce the month's lesson, children will also receive a Scripture memory card, a coordinating bookmark, and themed stickers.

These special keepsakes encourage children to continue thinking about what they've learned long after completing their activities.

❤️ Building a Foundation That Lasts

At Messages from Christ, we believe that learning about Jesus should be more than simply reading a Bible story.

We want children to experience Scripture in ways that are meaningful, memorable, and enjoyable.

Our November box encourages children to consider important questions:

• What does it mean to build my life upon Jesus Christ?

• How can I make choices that strengthen my faith?

• What can I do when life feels difficult or uncertain?

• How can I put Jesus' teachings into action every day?

By connecting Scripture with hands-on learning, we hope to help children develop a foundation of faith that continues growing throughout their lives.

"And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock." — Matthew 7:25 (KJV)

Because the strongest foundation we can help our children build is one rooted in Jesus Christ.
